Michael Smith serves as Senior Vice President of Accounting Systems and Implementations at LBMC W Squared, where he leads the firm’s onboarding and implementation strategy. Since joining in 2006 as the company’s first Senior Accountant, Michael has played a central role in building scalable accounting systems and standardized implementation processes. He has led more than 500 client implementations across healthcare, SaaS, and multi-entity organizations, designing structured accounting environments aligned with operational complexity and reporting requirements. His expertise spans Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Bill, and other integrated platforms, combining accounting knowledge with systems architecture to ensure new engagements are stable, disciplined, and built for long-term scalability.
